Sanskriti was setup by Mrs. Lalia Datta Gupta in 1992 with the workforce of just 2 persons showcasing traditional kurties and dress materials and at the same time engaged young women from different strata of society to train them in the language and aesthetics of our rich textile heritage.
With the increasing demand 8 years later Sanskriti extended the Suits Section. Trained skilled artisans from all over india developed textiles as designed by designer Lalia Datta Gupta, revolutioning costume design and having introduced the concept of styling in India. Women have made Sanskriti one of the most recognized name in the fashion industry.
Over the years, Sanskriti has built a very strong and stable position in the Indian Market, collections primarily Fusion Ethnic consist of Sarees for Regular Wear, Corporate Wear and Party Wear. The Kurti designs are in an amalgamation of Age-Old Crafts and Contemporary Cuts. The Fabric Collection comprises of traditional Benarasis, Brokets, Chanderi, Patola Silks and amongst other Heritage Fabric.
